Linda’s leadership spans board roles across diverse sectors, leading operations for non-profits, and managing high-stakes corporate governance as Corporate Assistant Secretary at an oil and gas company.
In addition to her non-profit leadership, Linda has decades of experience managing finance and administration in LNG engineering companies, where she was responsible for complex financial budgeting, oversight of financial reporting, and managing advanced financial programs and databases. Her expertise in corporate finance, combined with her experience running major corporate events for clients and employees, has been instrumental in ensuring fiscal responsibility and enhancing organizational engagement.
Linda’s comprehensive understanding of business operations includes leading administrative teams, implementing training programs, and driving operational excellence. Her strategic vision has been pivotal in expanding services—including the Pregnancy Help Center—and ensuring long-term sustainability for non-profits through successful fundraising and coordination of large-scale corporate events. Bryan Powell, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer
Bryan Powell serves as the Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer for BH Outreach Ranch of Texas (BHR). With over 20 years of experience as a solutions engineer, Bryan brings a wealth of knowledge in financial oversight, technical strategy, and leadership to the organization.
Bryan began his career in sales as a stockbroker for Edward Jones in Sugarland, Texas, before transitioning into information technology in the mid-1990s. He built a strong foundation in IT, eventually specializing in cybersecurity and cloud solutions. He earned his MBA in Business Data Analytics from Abilene Christian University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. His expertise spans across cloud computing, sales engineering, IT management, budgeting, and cybersecurity, making him a vital asset to BHR’s strategic growth and financial management.
Bryan has been a solutions engineer for over two decades and is currently the Director of Cybersecurity Solutions Engineering for RevBits Inc., where he manages the development of cybersecurity solutions to protect against threats such as ransomware and malware. His prior roles at leading technology companies demonstrate his proficiency in delivering innovative IT solutions and securing critical infrastructures for Fortune 500 clients. Additionally, Bryan served as IT Director for the Houston Symphony Orchestra (a 501(c)3 non-profit organization), where he led IT financial planning and major cloud migrations.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Bryan was a Senior Airman and Flight Leader in the Texas State Guard, contributing to state emergency and security operations. He assisted state and local authorities during times of emergency, conducting homeland security and community service activities under the Defense Support to Civil Authorities umbrella. This role underscored his commitment to integrity and service, qualities he upholds in his work with BHR.
In his role at BHR, Bryan ensures financial sustainability while supporting the organization’s mission to provide healing and empowerment to survivors of trauma and abuse. His personal connection to the veteran community drives his dedication to creating impactful programs that foster healing and resilience for all those BHR serves.
Lindsey White, Chief Operations Officer and Corporate Secretary
Lindsey White is a dedicated leader with a rich background in healthcare management, and event coordination. Her personal advocacy drives her work as Chief Operations Officer at BH Outreach Ranch of Texas where she leverages her diverse experience, including managing a medical practice, co-managing an orthopedic surgeon’s personal injury department, and overseeing catering events.
In her role, Lindsey is responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and allocating resources efficiently. She excels in developing and implementing strategic initiatives that align with the organization’s mission, with a focus on skills development, emotional support, and animal-assisted therapy. Additionally, Lindsey plays a crucial role in financial planning and budgeting, ensuring the sustainability of the organization.
Lindsey’s expertise extends to donor relations and community outreach, where she leads fundraising efforts and events to build support for BH Outreach Ranch. Her personal experience with domestic violence fuels her dedication to creating safe and empowering spaces for survivors. Driven by a strong focus on trauma recovery, Lindsey is passionate about fostering resilience and healing for those impacted by abuse.
Erin Ford, Director of Mental Health
Erin Ford is currently pursuing an M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy at Houston Christian University, with expected graduation in May 2025. She holds a B.S. in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University and has over a decade of experience in biomedical research and corporate environments before shifting her focus to non-profit and volunteer work.
Erin and her family dedicated two years to missionary work in Nicaragua, where they collaborated with a non-profit organization to support children and families in school and church settings. During this time, Erin was instrumental in planning and leading children’s church activities and teaching Christian education classes.
With a longstanding passion for supporting others, Erin integrates her recent training in marriage and family therapy with her diverse professional background. Her goal is to empower individuals and families who have faced abuse and trauma, offering them renewed hope and pathways to healing.
Jonny Nguyen, Director of Veteran Affairs and IT
Jonny Nguyen, Director of Veteran Affairs and IT, is a seasoned Network Engineer with a diverse background spanning military, finance, and technology. His career began in the United States Marine Corps, where he honed his leadership and strategic skills. He later transitioned to finance, working as a Junior Financial Advisor at JP Morgan Securities, before focusing on network engineering.
Jonny specializes in designing and managing complex network systems, with expertise in Cisco IOS, network security, and cloud networking. His certifications, including CCNP, CCNA, and Microsoft Azure, highlight his dedication to cutting-edge technology.
In his role at Braveheart Outreach Ranch, Jonny ensures that our technological infrastructure is robust and secure, crucial for protecting the sensitive information of our clients. His IT expertise supports our mission to assist those affected by PTSD, abuse, and trauma by providing a safe and efficient environment for accessing support services.
Fluent in Vietnamese and English, Jonny contributes to team development and exemplifies resilience and commitment to excellence. His journey from military service to IT aligns with BHR’s values of support, growth, and innovation.
