About Us
At BH Outreach Ranch of Texas (BHR), we are dedicated to creating a safe and nurturing sanctuary for survivors of abuse, trauma, and PTSD, as well as at-risk animals. Our mission is to offer transformative healing programs that foster personal growth, emotional restoration, and skill development. Through nature-based therapies, retreats, and animal-assisted interventions, we provide a peaceful environment where both people and animals can recover and renew their sense of purpose.
We envision a world where survivors of trauma reclaim their lives with resilience, hope, and a renewed sense of purpose. At the same time, we give at-risk animals a second chance, making them integral partners in the healing journey of our clients.
Our multifaceted approach combines education, therapy, and skill-building, offering classes, training programs, and empowerment opportunities to equip individuals with the tools they need to thrive. We are deeply committed to the rescue and care of stray, abused, and at-risk animals, and whenever possible, these animals are trained to provide therapeutic support for our clients—fostering mutual healing for both.

History and Background
Braveheart Outreach Ranch (BHR) was founded to address the unmet needs of women, children, and veterans who have experienced abuse, trauma, and PTSD. We also provide sanctuary and rehabilitation for animals at risk of euthanasia, rescuing strays, abused, and aging animals. Understanding the powerful bond between humans and animals, BHR offers animal-assisted therapy (AAT) as a core component of our healing programs.
